Jugaadu.com comes as much more than just a networking site. Through Jugaadu.com, we can trigger innovation, become famous and make money too. Further you get to connect with many other Jugaadu users all over the world. You don’t need to be a geek or have a management degree to be a Jugaadu. You can be a school drop out as long as you use a lot of common sense, are creative and resourceful. This site is all about ORDINARY PEOPLE WITH GREAT IDEAS. Jugaadu.com pushes all of us on to one platform and enables each one of us to think and increase the creative and innovative side of our brain and making our ideas from good to great leading to many great innovations.
What is the meaning of “Jugaadu”?
Jugaadu is essentially a name derived from Hindi word “Jugaad”. According to wiki “Jugaad” literally means a work around, which have been used due to lack of resources or will. This is a Hindi term also widely used by people speaking other Indian languages, and the people of Indian origin around the world. Jugaadu on this would refer to a person who is able to give ethical, intelligent, creative, resourceful and quick solutions to a problem.
What does “Resources” section cater to?
We all know innovation is a constant brain exercise and to keep it alive we must have some kind of guidance. The Resources section of jugaadu.com comes in form of guiding light to all the users who already are or in near future will be INNOVATORS. This section deals with various articles and write-ups related to creativity, inventions and innovations. The Resources section also includes videos and photos of Jugaads showing examples of clever street smart ideas that people have come up with.
What is a JUGAAD?
Jugaad refers to an improvised or jury-rigged solution; inventiveness, ingenuity, cleverness. It means creative improvisation and finding alternative ways of doing improbable things. It reflects on a person's ability to think out of the box and optimize resources in the best possible way.
Who can report a JUGAAD?
Anyone who is aware of a jugaad may report it. You need not be the owner of the jugaad but your awareness about it qualifies you to report the jugaad on the site provided it has already not been posted. You don’t need to be a geek, have a management degree, or the likes to be a Jugaadu. You may be a school drop out but as long as you use a lot of common sense, are creative and resourceful, you are a true treasure.
Why should I report a JUGAAD?
Knowledge shared is knowledge increased, so share all the creative and resourceful solutions (Jugaads) that you are aware of. Tell the world how resourceful you are with all your jugaad postings.
Earn points for every Jugaad that you post. These points get added up in your overall score and help you climb the leaderboard.
How do I report a JUGAAD?
New User : You would first need to register on the site. Once you fill up the registration form, you would receive an activation email. The activation email will have a link. Click on the link or copy the link and paste it in the browser location bar. The activation link will verify you as the user of the email account and activate your account. Now you can sign into your account. After signing in, reach the Jugaad section and click on "POST A JUGAAD". A new page would open and you would need to fill up details on that to post your Jugaad.

How do I earn points in the JUGAAD section of the site??
Depending on the activity you do, your points shall be added to your overall score
- Each Jugaad reported and approved: 10 points
- Ranking 1-5: 1-5 (depending on what rating you get for each Jugaad from each user)
Can a JUGAAD reported by me get rejected?
Yes, Team Jugaadu.com shall be reviewing all the jugaads reported by the users and while reviewing in case the team feels that the concept is not JUGAAD which means that it does not fall within the definition of the JUGAAD or has content that is obscene or of the sorts, the team shall reject such REPORTING and shall inform or warn the user of the same. Incase any of your Reportings are not showing on the site and you have not been informed of the same you may contact the Jugaadu Support Team via the contact us page.
What is a Ideation?
Ideations is simply undeveloped ideas. Users here have an opportunity to launch new ideas in their minds that might not be fully functional. They can post their concepts and initiate discussion on the concept with other users of the site. Jugaadu.com provides an easy way for the user to organise the concept details and the inputs provided by other users, giving it a greater value. If you have an idea, let it not go to waste, the idea may soon be a GREAT INNOVATION. Launch it here and make it happen.
Who can post an Ideation?
Any and every Jugaadu.com member who has conceived an idea and would like to launch it and make it happen can post it.
Who all can be a part of Discussions?
All Jugaadu members are free to put in their inputs on the concept and be a part of a new product/Innovation. The author of the concept will have the ability to organise the inputs received and completely reject the input received from other users.
Why Should I post an Ideation?
Posting a Ideation would be most beneficial for you because it will help you give life to an idea that you thought of and which could otherwise just go waste or may take a lot of time to develop, but here you would be getting the best of inputs from the most resourceful and creative network aka Jugaadus. This would help you call yourself innovator the day your idea is realised
User would also earn points for initiating an idea that would be added to his/her overall score.
How do I post a IDEATION?

How do I earn points through IDEATION?
Whenever you launch a new concept, the concept will be reviewed by the Jugaadu team. If the concept is approved by the team @ Jugaadu.com you will earn 10 points for launch the new concept.
Can a IDEATION be rejected?
All the new concepts would be reviewed by team @ Jugaad.com. If the new concept is found to be obscene or not complying with the definition of JUGAAD as mentioned on the site, the posting will be rejected. In case a new concept is rejected the user shall be informed of the same through a mail. If your new concept does not feature on the site and you have not received any mail, you may contact the support team from the contact us page.
Can the inputs given by me on the IDEATION be rejected?
Once an ideation is launched, the initiator of the concept shall become the owner of it in all respects and it shall be his/her discretion to accept, reject or hold on to the inputs put in by various users. Jugaadu.com team shall provide assistance to him/her in case it is asked for.
What is a CHALLENGE?
Challenge is a task or situation that tests someones abilities. At Jugaadu.com users get an opportunity to challenge the entire community of street smart people aka jugaadu users with specific real life issues/problems faced by them. By posting such Challenges, users shall seek to find the most resourceful solution to those issues. In order to motivate people users may also announce some reward for the best solution.
Who can post a CHALLENGE?
Any and every member of Jugaadu.com has the right to post a challenge, the only thing that must be kept in mind is that this must be real life challenge and very very specific.
Why should I post a CHALLENGE?
Facing issues and problems in different aspects of life is very common for each one of us. All of us are also capable enough to find a solution or a way out of it..but is that solution really optimum one? Through solutions posted by various jugaadus one can be sure of the steps to be taken to tackle that issue. Infact the challenger might be lucky enough to get inputs from those Jugaadu users who might have faced similar situations earlier. Moreover the power of "WE" is definitely greater than "ME", so this wuld help you analyse the situation from different angles as done by various jugaadu users.
Users would also gain points for every Challenge posted by them . These points would add up to their overall score and help them climb the leaderboard.
What is a SOLUTION?
Solutions are the responses given to challenges. Users posting such responses must make sure that these are the most resourceful and optimum solutions to the challenge.
Who can post a SOLUTION?
Any and every member of Jugaadu.com except the user who has posted the Challenge can provide a solution.
Why should I post a SOLUTION?
Solving a challenge would not only help you exercise your brain, but will also fetch you rewards from the Challenger(not mandatory) as well as from Jugaadu.com if you happen to be the best solver.
If your solution features in top ten you fetch points that would increase your overall score and help you go up the leaderboard.
How do I earn points through Challenges and Solutions?
Points would be credited to you account as:
- Posting a Challenge : 20
- Top Solution* : 100 (1st prize), 70pts (2nd prize), 40 pts (3rd prize)
*The winners may receive additional incentives from Jugaadu.com team and challenger(if mentioned).
Can a CHALLENGE posted by me get rejected?
Once you post a challenge, team jugaadu.com reviews it before it goes live on the site. During the review the team may reject it if it finds that the issue is not very specific as required or in case it is found to be obscene ad the kinds. Team jugaadu.com in either of the cases shall inform or warn the users trough email. In case your challenge does not feature on the site and you have not received any mail, you may contact the admn team.
Who will assess the SOLUTIONS?
After the Challenge goes live on the site, the person who has posted the challenge gets all the rights to assess the solutions. He/She is the one who will decide whether to accept or reject the inputs given in various solutions and how to use them . He/She may however ask for assistance from Team Jugaadu.com
What are CONNECTIONS?
Connections reflects your network on the site. It show the total number of street smart people you are connected to?

Jugaadu users have an ability to network and establish relationships of trust. Get your jugaadu skills to play their best and get connected to maximum number of smart people across the globe.
What is LEADERBOARD?
To be on the top is the dream of most of us, but we don't realise while most of us are dreaming of success, winners have been up and working hard to achieve it. At Jugaadu.com too, winners would be the ones who have been actively taking part in various asoects of the site. These active users will keep increasing their scores based on their performance and move up the leaderboard which features the top jugaadus. What is expertise?
All this time, you have been writing a resume that fills up some job post. Here's an opportunity to express your true expertise which may or may not be what you are actually doing. Tell people what you are really good at.
Why should I tell people my expertise?
If you are good at something, you need to be rewarded for it. Jugaadu.com gives you exposure to the world. People can look at your expertise and come to you for advise for which you could charge them a nominal fee or a large fee.
How would one locate me based on my expertise?
Top leaders of an expertise will figure up on the leaderboards automatically. If you are really good, you need not worry, the thirsty horse will come to find its well. However, for those lesser but not yet leader experts, would be easily be searched from the Jugaadu search engine or via the profile of a user. The profile of the user itself will be accesssible via any posting that you might have done via posting of Jugaads, Ideations, Challenges, query to challenges, solutions to challenges. So the more post you have the more likely, someone would be seeing your profile.
