Now a days 2strok scooters are out of fashion in most of India due to poor mileage. I want to use old scooter engine to generate electricity.

I live in a small village of U.P. in our area the condition of electricty supply is very poor. I have a old bajaj 150cc scooter, I have equppied it with a LPG kit so it runs by LPG. the milage is 60-65 km/kg. I want to use it as a primemover of a 2kva altenator. How can it be possible?  Is any one of u ever tried it.your kind views would be verry benificul for me and many more jugaddusin our locality.
